I don't think the will of the people is there in the UK. People want the lifestyles that the large corporations deliver. They don't want to have to compromise, cut back, or do things differently. They don't care enough. They won't vote a government in that promises to get all the housing insulated, or ban polluting practises. They had an opposition party deliver a very green agenda at a recent election and they didn't vote for it. The party failed badly and now has a new leader and other priorities.
